Replace spirals & set rotation direction (counterclockwise/clockwise)

There are two types of spirals – left-handed and right-handed. Depending on the product and the compartment, you have to use the right spiral.

Replace spirals

Note: The easiest way to replace them is to take out the spiral drawer completely.

1. Unlock the drawer

   • Lock the clamps at the front right and left upwards.

   • Pull out the drawer.

2. Loosen the spiral

   • Loosen the spiral by turning the socket.

   • At the bottom left in the open slot of the socket, you can unscrew the spiral.

3. Remove the spiral

   • Carefully pull the spiral out to the front.

4. Insert the new spiral

   • Insert the new spiral into the socket.

   • Turn the spiral until the slot is completely filled.

5. Lock in place

   • Hook in the spiral and keep turning it until it clicks audibly.

   • The spiral is now securely anchored.

Set rotation direction (left/right rotation)

Note: Even here it's easier if you pull the push-out completely.

1. Remove push-out

   • Lock the clamps, pull the push-out forward.

   • Loosen cable at the back.

   • Lift out the push completely.

2. Check motor

   • You can see two plug connections on the motor (left and right).

3. Switch plugs

   • Swap the cable plugs from left to right (or vice versa).

   • That's how you change the spiral's rotation direction.

Now you've installed a new spring and set the rotation direction correctly.
