If the pick-up door makes unusual noises or clicks, it might be because of a loose attachment or the magnet (sensor) being out of place.

The magnet is attached to the pick-up door (the dispensing tray of the machine). Loosen the screws and move the magnet a bit further to the left.
The magnet is now a bit further to the left.
Fasten the screws again, so that the receiver (built into the door) recognizes the magnet again. Then test the slots.
