Frequently Asked Questions & Troubleshooting for the MoMa App and the Nayax Device

Change language in the MoMa app

Here’s how you adjust the app to your preferred language:

1. Open MoMa app

2. Tap “More” at the bottom menu

3. Tap the gear icon in the top right

4. Scroll down until “Language” shows up

5. Pick language and confirm with Save.

Create pick list

Option 1: On desktop

• Log in to Nayax account

• Go to "Operations" → "Inventory Overview"

• Click "View Report"

• Select machine → "Actions" → "Create packing slip"

• Then click "Export" → "Download Pick List"

Option 2: Via the MoMa app

• Open MoMa app

• Select machine

• Go to product card

• Tap the tool icon at the bottom right

• "Actions → Create pick list → Generate" select

Remove products from the product folder

• Open Nayax Core → “Operations → Machines”

• Search for and open the machine

• Select the “Product Folder” tab

• Select product → “Map → Remove Selected BINs → OK”

Adjust the Nayax module volume

1. Open menu on terminal → “Technician Mode”

2. “Advanced Settings” → “Volume”

3. Adjust with the arrows

Terminal is speaking English?

If the module is in English, maybe it hasn't been unlocked yet.
Keep the serial number handy and contact Nayax Support.

You can find the serial number:

• On the back of the terminal

• In the menu under “Terminal Info”

Nayax password

Default passwords

• 12345

Find / change password

• Nayax Core: Operations → Machines → General → VPOS Touch → Technician Code

• MoMa App: Settings → Parameters → VPOS Touch → Technician Code

Create report for tax advisor

• Cashless transaction report → via email from Nayax monthly

• Sales summary → Nayax Core → Reports → Sales summary → Export as PDF

• Detailed reports → Reports → Dynamic transaction monitoring → Activate “With cash”

Tip: Always also keep a cashbook and document cash deposits.

Reset cash balance

1. Open terminal → Technician mode

2. Enter password

3. Perform cash closing

4. After transfer, the balance in MoMa is set to 0 €

Perform software update

• Nayax Core → Operations → Machines → Actions → Update Device Version
  Attention: Don’t update to the latest version automatically! It's better to check with Nayax Support regularly.

Problems with card payment

• EC card (chip & PIN): PIN can’t be requested → Put up a note: Hold the card contactless to the reader

• Apple Pay / Google Pay: Only works with credit cards, not with stored EC cards

Create prepaid and discount cards

Prepaid card

• Nayax Core → Consumers → Cards → Add new card

• Select card type & number → Credit type → Set limit

Discount card

• Same way as above

• Percentage Discount enter
